Well, if Mao could kill 50 million Chinese, what are a few Wuhanians to them???
Exactly. To me it's just population control for China. What better way to release a bio-weapon? It serves two or more purposes. It gets rid of the old and weak in China, and weakens the rest of the world, setting it up for a Chinese takeover.
Maybe you ought to tell President Biden that when he is climbing some stairs. Also, Harris is supposedly in charge of fixing the border, but has set up no meetings and says she will only deal with policy issues.
Whatever your politics, one must admit things are a lot worse than they were 3 months ago.
I firmly believe the old saying: "If the first decision is wrong, the rest are wrong." Apparently Biden and his people never heard that.
I have to admit, I was in complete agreement with Trump in building the wall along the southern border. His only problem is that he didn't complete it during the 4 years in office. I know it was a massive project, but it would have helped deter the current mess down there now.
He did not complete it because of the delays in funding and the innumerable lawsuits filed by Dems looking for new voters.
It's too bad that wall wasn't completed. Now we see the results of that, along with the fact that immigrants are surging across the border because they feel they'll get a better deal with Biden.
Since when can the President sign an executive order and over rule a law approved by Congress? The wall was funded and Congress mandated it. Clearly, this is unconstitutional. Otherwise, the new President can veto stuff approved by a previous administration. I am surprised the Repub/Stupid Party is not all over this. And the media is crickets per usual.
Yea, this is difficult to understand. I don't know the legal aspects of all this, so it will be difficult for me to weigh in.
If one part of the gov can simply over ride established laws, it is unconstitutional. A president can veto a Bill, but cannot retroactively cancel it. Otherwise, what is the point of passing any bill?
I think that Presidents have used that executive order to the extreme and it probably should be put to death.
All I am suggesting is what is the point of Congress passing a bill and then potentially years later of a President simply signing his name and killing the bill? Since there are supposed balance of powers, this makes no sense.
That's how this government has been corrupted over the past 100 years. I agree with you. Once a law is passed by Congress, it should be untouchable except by Congress itself...or maybe the Supreme Court.
Exactly.
Did you see Biden's new Stimulus proposal? It is insane. I cannot believe it will pass though I suspect it probably will. He is bankrupting the next generation for sure.
Spend now, pay later. You are talking about the Infrastructure plan, right? The roads and bridges of this country are falling apart, though. In WNY, it's actually dangerous to drive over some of our bridges.
A very small portion of the bill is for actual infrastructure. It is a total joke.
That sounds like the Stimulus Bill. More fat than fact.
Biden was responsible for distribution of the Obama Stimulus which did nothing except give money to designated Democratic supporters...Meanwhile, the US is already 30 Trillion in debt. Who is gonna bail us out? China???
That's been the policy of every administration in my lifetime. Spend now, worry about it later. The U.S. had a balanced budget just once I can remember. Outside of that, it's spend like money is going out of style. It's both Republican and Democrat administrations that have run up the debt to a point of no return.
Right. The last time we did not have a deficit etc was during Bill Clinton's administration.
Just got back from my friendly Indian casino where we had a great time. I had my 7th Calvary hat and if people asked my name said it was George from Buffalo.
You should have said you were Razzman from Buffalo. LOL
That balanced budget was certainly short-lived. With every administration since, it was go for all the gusto and don't worry about the future of our kids.
