We've had bears in our area in the past. Not too close to me though. I think they come up from the Allegheny region.

Speaking of Bad News Bears, Vlad hit his 20th homerun this season in a 7-2 win over the Red Sox. I couldn't believe it when I turned it on MLB and saw it was 6-0 Jays. I only watched a little of it.

The Jays are 7.5 games behind the Rays and the Sox are 2 behind. Can't believe the Yanks are still ahead of Toronto.

After the wedding we watched a lot of that Red Sox game. Matz looked really good and made the Sox looked poorly at the plate. Meanwhile, looking forward to Lightning game today at 3:00 PM.

I just checked to see the score of the Jays-Sox game and TO really clobbered Boston 18-4. What's going on there in Beantown? The Jays had 8 home runs in that game!

I haven't watched too much of the NHL playoffs recently. Played my first golf of the year. It was really hot out there!

Ya. There was a tournament at the country club where we had Saturday's shower. My nephew lives close by so we went there and watched the ball game. The Jays looked great in that game for sure. On some of the homeruns, the Sox outfielders did not even move. LOL

When the next batch of Blue Jays tickets went on sale last Thursday, I checked out the prices and the games available. The Yankees games were going for $269, and I looked into the Seattle game. Those were cheaper, but the cheapest seats were in the far corners, near the foul poles for $50. Decided to pass on those tickets.

The Jays wrap up their series with the Sox today and then host the Yankees in Buffalo tomorrow. I have a feeling this will be like when the Leafs visit Buffalo and over half the fans are rooting for the Leafs.

The Yankees are playing badly lately. Bet the Jays do well against them.

The latest on the Yanks per the NY Post:

I'm rooting for the Jays to get higher up in the standings. A few years ago, I was rooting a little for the Yankees. It's kind of an on & off thing with me. This year I'm rooting against them. Tampa Bay seems to be the team to beat in the AL East this year.

"Payroll for the Tampa Bay Rays', is $28.3 million. The Yankees are at $109.4 million. Go figure.

That's comparable to the taxes in NYS and Florida. LOL

Hey. NY Property taxes are 2 1/2 times higher than mine just a 1/4 mile at the end of my street for similarly valued homes. It is insane.

That sounds about right for New York State. We're paying for all the Democrat pet projects here. It started way before Cuomo. Maybe his father got the ball rolling in that direction.
